In a number of other regions throughout the UK and Ireland many organizations and companies have raised funds and made donations of time and energy to establish and assist in running their own Air Ambulance Services

There are now 24 Air Ambulances run by 16 Air Ambulance services across England, Scotland and Wales. 21 of these Air Ambulances are funded by charitable donations from members of the public, clubs and associations, Youth Groups unions and companies. It is an on-going scenario in as much as long as an Air Ambulance is needed it will continue the need to be funded.

This will not only allow the Air Ambulance to be established here but will allow the service to continue to do what it’s best at – saving lives and improving patients potential quality of life.

A number of organizations have already started to help us and some are mentioned on this page. If we have mistakenly neglected to give you a mention or if you would like to do more, please contact us or take a look at our wish list

We need your sponsorship

As you can see, the  proposed helicopter currently has no sponsorship logos on it.
If you are interested in applying your company logo on the aircraft, please use the 'Contact Us' page to inform the sponsorship team.

IAA In font of City Hall This is how the Ireland Air Ambulance might look if it landed in front of the City Hall in Belfast City Centre.

Virgin Air Ambulance

Virgin Air Ambulance

As you can see, this aircraft has just landed in Oxford Street , London. This is a prime example of helicopters being utilised in urban cities, and not just rural areas.

This is a prime example of how Virgin have taken full advantage of the advertising space on the London Air Ambulance. Virgin have had their advertising on London Air Ambulance for well over 10 years and it is still there today.

London Air Ambulance And Rapid Response CarAs you can see, the London Air Ambulance has physician response units. The car is deployed when the aircraft is either on its annual maintenance, and also at night time. Ireland Air Ambulance will be adding 4 of the cars to its fleet to allow the doctors and paramedics to visit scenes of accidents when the helicopter is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. All 4 cars will be available for sponsorship. These cars cost approximately £1000 a day to keep them and the crew on the road..... they are not diesels!!

What's a life worth in £££££ ???

It is common knowledge that the Yorkshire Air Ambulance that saved BBC Top Gear presenter, Richard 'hamster' Hammond, costs roughly £7000 a day to run.
Yorkshire Air Ambulance have £700,000 a year worth of advertising on their aircraft. If the advertising was missing, the service would not exist.

A life is worth EVERY PENNY !
